Bushbaby

Bushbabies, also called galagos, are small nocturnal primates native to sub-Saharan Africa. Depending on species, adults may weigh from only a few ounces to several pounds, with males often slightly larger than females. They have large eyes, large ears, long tails, soft gray to brown coats, and powerful hind legs used for leaping through trees and shrubs. Bushbabies feed on insects, tree gum, fruit, and small prey, and are known for loud nighttime calls. In the United States, they have been kept in zoos, educational facilities, and some specialized private collections during the 20th century, though they require specialized care and may be regulated.
